We do continuous research through magazines and travel on the latest dish concepts, and Coleen is a great adaptor of ideas - our menu is always interesting and innovative. Miranda was trained at Sir John Cass College in London and has worked with many worldwide international jewellery houses including Garrards of London and Europe. Her international reputation is renowned, and Gecko Valley is pleased to house her one-off beautiful jewellery pieces.
Gecko Valley will be hosting the annual Christmas collection of hand-crafted jewellery by Miranda Manifold on Friday, 2 November 2007. Exquisite hand-crafted pieces featuring Central Queensland and Australian gemstones, as well as unusual gems from around the world.

Gecko Valley is home to renowned local abstract realist wildlife artist, Mararet Worthington. Margaret's current exhibition of artworks in the Lazy Lizard Lounge and Gallery is called 'Rainforest - Images and Patterns'.

Tony McCray (Co-owner)
Viticulture, property maintenance, freight and transport, staff development, strategic management, quality assurance, overall development, assistant winemaker
Coleen McCray (Co-owner)
Supervision, staff training, sales, food development and pre-preparation, accounts, jewellery development, promotions
Kristina Carroll: Kristina has been with Gecko Valley for 18 months and is the front face of Gecko Valley. Kristina is studying part-time at CQU in Gladstone.
Gaby McCray: Gaby has worked at Gecko Valley with her parents since she was 7 years old, but for the past 18 months as the front face of Gecko Valley.
Gaby is in Grade 11 and has one more year of high school before heading off to university.
Sue Sant: Sue has been with us since March this year. Sue loves the challenges that she encounters on a daily basis, and loves good customer service.
Jacki Hunter: Jackie has worked at Gecko Valley for the past 18 months. Jackie and bright and bubbly, and always happy to help our customers.
Upcoming Events
Gecko Valley will be hosting the annual Christmas collection of hand-crafted jewellery by Miranda Manifold. Exquisite hand-crafted pieces featuring Central Queensland and Australian gemstones, as well as unusual gems from around the world. This year’s collection is entitled “All the Colours of the Rainbow”. This collection will be held on Friday 2 November 2007 from 6 to 8 pm. Bookings and RSVP’s only. The collection is co-ordinated with fashions by Fantasy Rags of Gladstone and co-hosted by Cathy Corones from PJR Modelling. Miranda is able to remodel existing pieces of jewellery, obtain unset beautiful gemstones, and has many satisfied local, Australian and worldwide clients. Jewellery pieces from the collection unsold, will remain at Gecko Valley.
